Tier 5 Investigations, LLC began as Boyden Investigative Services LLC., founded in Upper Marlboro, Maryland in 1999 by Sean Boyden. Sean Boyden is a retired Maryland State Trooper and, since retiring, has provided a variety of background investigative services to a number of government agencies--to include the Federal Bureau of Investigation Background Investigation Contract Services Unit (FBI BICS), Department of Defense (DoD), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Customs and Border Protection (CPD), among many others--and private organizations accruing over 22 years of experience in the industry of Pre-Employment Background Investigations. At Tier 5 Investigations, LLC, we pride ourselves in equipping our clients with thorough, accurate reports to meet their pre-screening needs. Case Manager

At Tier 5 Investigations, our case managers scope and review all internal and external applications to ensure that all case requirements are met with accuracy and timeliness. Our case managers serve as the first line of contact between our company and our client or applicant; therefore, all case managers must prove exceptional time-management, organizational, communication (verbal and nonverbal) skills while being able to adjust in a dynamic work environment and remain professional.

Field Investigator

Washington Metropolitan Area, USA - 1002-F

Our field investigators are tasked with conducting internal and external background investigations, ranging in complexity, into potential candidates. The investigator will be responsible for conducting fieldwork--not limited to the retrieval and verification of records, interviewing, etc.--to produce reports of investigations. As a field investigator, you will control your availability and maintain a flexible schedule to conduct the fieldwork required. Regular travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility is required; therefore, all investigators must own and maintain a vehicle that will provide a reliable means of transportation throughout the duration of employment.
